Purpose Statement

The Darryl Chappell Foundation exists to empower Afrodescendant artists to achieve their highest potential. We accomplish this by funding Artists-in-Residence, by curating an online Artists Marketplace, by facilitating Artists Talk Series, and by providing funding for public commission art through the Fund for Community Art program. Your support is greatly appreciated.

We envision a day where artists work together to have a positive and transformative impact on their local communities through art.

To empower Afrodescendant artists to achieve their highest potential.

The Darryl Chappell Foundation is a Public Charity organized as a 501(c)(3).

The Foundation partners with other nonprofits to support and fund programs. The nonprofit partner then funds artists directly.
